| Kathy
Rossmann, RN, BSN, FAAM received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Nursing in 1977 from Arizona State University.
She has worked as a Registered Nurse in hospitals in
Arizona, Denver, and Grand Junction. She became interested
in Permanent Make-up, also called Micropigmentation,
when she realized that her nursing skills and her experience
as an artist would be a perfect blend in this field. Certified
as a dermatechnician by the American Institute for Permanent
Color Technology in 1993, she was also accepted as a
member of the American Council of Dermagraphic Research.
In 1994 Kathy completed an advanced internship training.
Later in the same year, Kathy passed the 2-day proficiency
examination to become one of the first 16 people to
be Board Certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation.
Also in 1994, she was certified in the procedures of
Multirepannic Collagen Actuation for scar camouflage.
Kathy
still is the first person to be Board Certified in Colorado
plus six other states in the surrounding region. Since
1993, she has performed procedures for over 5000 people.
Kathy
has lived in Grand Junction since 1988 with her husband
and their three daughters. She is a member of the Mesa
County Women's Network and Valley Bible Church, where
her husband is the pastor. Kathy has played in the Grand
Junction Symphony Orchestra since 1988 as co-principal
flutist. |
